WHAT IS A DOCK GRADER?
Dock Levelers or Dock Leveling Platforms, were developed for use in loading and unloading docks, allowing access between the dock and the vehicle.
WHY SHOULD I INVEST IN A DOCK LEVELING PLATFORM?
With the dock leveling platforms it is possible to reduce the risk of accidents and damage to materials due to falls.
The use of the dock leveler reduces the time of the loading and unloading process, jeopardize the safety of the operation.
WHAT TYPES OF DOCK GRADERS?
IRON currently has the standard built-in dock leveler model with a load capacity of 10,000kg, but we can manufacture it according to your operation.
There are several models, however the main dock leveler models are recessed dock levelers and dock levelers front. Both have an electro-hydraulic drive system.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUILT-IN AND FRONT DOCK GRADERS
Recessed dock leveler:
They are used in places where the space for maneuvering vehicles is restricted, in places where there are perishable loads requiring temperature control or internal safety regulations.
This model of dock leveler platform is installed built-in in the dock pit, its activation is done by system electro-hydraulic. the eyelash front is articulated, compensating for vehicle oscillations..
Advanced Dock Leveler or Front Dock Leveler:
Used in places where already has built docks or where sheds are leased and has restrictions on new construction.
The Front Dock Leveler attaches to the edge of the dock easily and conveniently. It can be withdrawn in the future if necessary.
